Part of Fender’s "Stories Collection," this Eric Johnson ‘1954 Virginia’ Stratocaster pays tribute to the artist’s iconic and much-loved modded Strat. Originally pieced together by Johnson in the '70s, the original Virginia had a 2-piece ash body, a single humbucker at the bridge, and a style all its own. This faithful recreation keeps the spirit intact while refining the build for consistency and clarity.
The 2-tone sunburst finish lays beautifully over a chambered sassafras body—lightweight, resonant, and full of air. The quartersawn maple neck with vintage tint and a 12" radius maple fingerboard plays fast and smooth, all framed by custom Eric Johnson pickups and a vintage-style trem. From the EJ neck plate to the paper sleeve certificate, this one hits all the marks.

Excellent. Light ding near the bottom edge (pictured), otherwise clean throughout. Hardware shows minimal signs of use. Neck is smooth, frets are clean, and the electronics are fully tested and functional. A collector-worthy example with all original paperwork and accessories.
